Debbie Shandley - Chief Executive
Debbie has over 30 years experience in training and talent acquisition with 20 years as a chief executive and policy maker. Debbie has developed, delivered and managed occupational training programmes for individuals, communities and employers. Debbie established a national training provider to deliver high quality vocational training to industry and to support capacity building and quality improvement in a broad range of occupational sectors including transport and logistics both in the UK and the Far East.
Pierre de Carteret - Chief Operating Officer TRSG
Pierre started his apprenticeship in logistics in the summer of 1988 going on to undertake various roles in maritime, aviation and road transport throughout his formative (career) years. Pierre joined Exel Logistics (which became DHL) in early 2013 as a safety manager and subsequently moved through progressive roles before entering a training management role in 2009 heading up the department responsible for delivering Driver CPC for 10,000 drivers annually. In late 2015 Pierre left DHL and shortly afterwards joined The Real Apprenticeship Company.
Pierre has been a long standing champion of the logistics skills agenda and worked with Skills for Logistics on various National Occupational Standards (NOS) and was the driving force behind several initiatives, also playing a part on the FTA NW Freight Council and Skills Working Group. Pierre remains passionate about creating and delivering sustainable talent solutions aligned to employers needs and welcomes the Apprenticeship Levy as a great enabler for future logisticians.
Manjinder Chhokran - Business Development Manager
Manjinder Chhokran joined The Real Apprenticeship Company as part of the Recruitment Team in 2014, after completing his degree in Criminology. Since joining, Manjinder has looked after numerous aspects of the business ranging from recruitment strategy to account management. His achievements led him to be appointed as Talent Manager in 2015 before moving to look after the growth in Logistics business.
Manjinder is passionate about introducing new technology into the apprenticeship recruitment sector and is totally committed to ensuring clients receive a first class service.
The platform developed at The Real Apprenticeship Company will now transfer and grow with The Real Solutions Group. This will deliver continuous enhancement to the recruitment and development of potential apprentices, providing an outstanding journey for prospective learners.
