At The Real Solutions Group we work with employers to ensure they have the very best people whilst helping them to grow. Working in partnership with employers we are keen to support up-skilling, succession planning and securing early talent to meet a range of pre-determined measures. We have strict service level agreements with our employers and are able to provide two discrete offers to employers:
Securing early talent through the deployment of apprentices who are employed on a fixed term or permanent contract by the employer. The Real Solutions Group will, at a zero cost to the employer, secure a number of suitable applicants to serve as a long-list for each vacancy. These will be recruited in dialogue with the employer.
Recognising that often employers are keen to engage with early talent but headcount limits this. The Real Solutions Group will work with the employer to explore the apprenticeship intern. If an employer wishes to take up this this option and use The Real Solutions Group as the employer, then The Real Solutions Group will assume full legal and financial responsibility for the duration of the apprentice internee’s placement including:
- Health & Safety
- Performance management
- Payment of internee's wage (including holiday pay)
- Making and managing PAYE and NI contributions
- Dealing with grievance and disciplinary matters
- Replacing the internee if things don't work out
- Providing guidance and practical support to both the internee and the Host Company
In return we ask the employer to allow them to gain a nationally accredited qualification within the recognised apprenticeship framework or standard. There is no commitment, for the employer to employ the apprentice internee. There will be NO charge made by The Real Solutions Group if the employer chooses to do so. Our charge to you will be based on the wage that you agree to pay the apprentice internee subject to complying with the minimum wage rules. The Real Solutions Group will invoice you for the apprentice internee’s wage, statutory deductions as applicable, their holiday pay, plus a 15% service/administration charge and VAT.

Implementation of a bespoke attraction, recruitment and selection process.
This process taps into both traditional and cutting edge applicant attraction techniques. It also employs a combination of "tried and tested" together with "latest thinking" recruitment and selection methods.
Using tried and tested models including following websites, the National Apprenticeship Service, Direct Gov, Total Jobs and The Real Academy.
The Initial application
An online application will be made by each applicant. This online process allows them to express themselves and gives them the freedom to include personalised content. The process also includes guided questions, which are designed to elicit more information and allow context and texture to be understood.
Applicants will be subject to a series of tests, which facilitate a tangible assessment of capability, aspiration, personality and prior technical competence.
The Real Solutions Group blueprint assessment will be developed to include the employer’s elements based on the apprenticeship requirement and could include face to face interviews, group and individual exercises, role-play and presentations.
Along list of applicants will be provided to the employer. The long list will include applicant profiles to assist the employer in making a shortlist and to hold interviews and on site assessment centres. The Real Solutions Group will assist the employer in this process and will coordinate the final selection.
On completion of final selection the apprentice can become either an employee of the employer or The Real Solutions Group. The Real Solutions Group recommends a fixed term contract of employment linked to a set of performance targets.
